I Would Like to Welcome You to Red River!

It is crucial that our Marshal's Office delivers the highest quality of police service to our residents, as well as to those who work, visit, or travel through our town. I want everyone in the Town of Red River to know that no phone call is too insignificant for us. If you require law enforcement assistance, whether it's a simple question or a minor concern, do not hesitate to reach out to our Communications Center. Our aim is to offer the most professional law enforcement services, and to achieve this, we must ensure that we are meeting all public needs.

Please feel encouraged to engage with our deputies when you encounter them. Our police officers are approachable, professional, highly trained, and uphold strong integrity. We take pride in our work and in being an integral part of this community. Your support is greatly valued.

Welcome to our town, and we hope you enjoy your visit!

Marshal Jason Rael

Communications Center

The Red River Dispatch Center, a branch of the Red River Marshal's Office, is equipped with advanced communication technology, a state-of-the-art enhanced 911 system, and communications specialists who are on duty 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

These specialists are devoted to establishing the vital connection between individuals seeking help and the professionals providing it.

In 2007, a significant upgrade, partially funded by the State of New Mexico, enabled broader service to numerous local agencies. This included taking on communication duties for regional police departments, fire departments, ambulances, and search and rescue teams. The most recent enhancement in early 2013 brought next-generation improvements to the 911 and radio systems.

When reporting an emergency, it's important to stay on the line with the dispatcher until assistance arrives. Provide details of the emergency, your location, name, a callback number, and any other pertinent information, such as potential dangers or descriptions of people involved. Most importantly, remain calm and keep yourself out of danger.
