Town Administration

Incorporated in 1971, the Town of Red River is a Mayor/Council form of Government managed by a Town Administrator. 

• Our Town Council meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Red River Conference Center.

According to the 2020 Census, 542 residents make Red River their home.

• Lodger's Tax: 5%
• Gross Receipts Tax: 9.4250%

Municipal Services: Water, Sewer, Solid Waste, Ambulance, Fire, Police, Economic Development, Transportation, Dispatch, Public Library, and Motor Vehicle
