Subject: Project Updates – Tenderfoot Area and Surrounding Infrastructure
- Water Project – Tenderfoot Area
The final section of the main water line is currently being installed along Viva Del Trail. The contractor is also continuing the transition of individual service lines to the newly installed water mains.
- Main Street Sidewalk Project
The crew is approximately one week behind schedule due to recent rainfall and complications related to the alignment of existing utilities. Construction will continue in front of the Community House and Town Hall over the next two weeks. The contractor aims to complete work past the Community House before the 85th Annual Celebration on July 31.
- High Street Utility Project – Phase I
Phase I is nearing completion with the installation of new valley gutters, water lines, and storm drains. Traffic is expected to be heavy at the intersection of High Street and Center Court during the week of August 4. As school resumes that week, utility work at the intersection will intensify. Access to the bridge will be significantly limited due to the boring of a new water line beneath Bitter Creek. Additionally, Phase II will commence that same week, beginning with the installation of a new water line on Center Court. To manage school traffic, vehicles will be directed to enter High Street via Jayhawk and exit via Golden Treasure Road.
- High Street Utility Project – Phase II
Phase II will focus on the replacement of water lines along Center Court and in the Stagecoach Area throughout this construction season.
