Comprehensive Plan
The public input process included three public meetings, in addition to stakeholder interviews and steering committee meetings. The Comprehensive Plan focuses on the physical development of the community, and promotes the health, safety, and welfare by addressing the on-going desire for sustainable economic development, the adequacy of municipal infrastructure to serve existing and future development, the availability of community services including public safety, the need for workforce housing, and hazard mitigation to keep the community safe given its interface with the Carson National Forest.
