OPEN POSITIONS:

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Red River has an opening for a FULL-TIME POSITION in the Public Works Department. The Town of Red River will be accepting applications until the position is filled for a full-time Events & Sales Coordinator within the Office of Economic Development & Tourism. This position is responsible for promoting and booking events at the Red River Conference Center & Brandenburg Park while ensuring a net positive effect on the community. Work involves a variety of day-to-day duties including but not limited to: event planning and coordinating, conference center marketing, and assisting with visitor information. Working some late nights, weekends, and holidays is required. The Town of Red River will be accepting applications until the position is filled for a part-time Bus Driver in the Transit DepartmentThis position requires the operation of transportation vehicles and implementation of public transit service to the general public, including school children. Work involves responsibility for application and manipulative ability in the inspection and operation of the vehicles.  This employee can be expected to operate the vehicles engaged in the transportation system and serve passengers in a safe and courteous manner. Some repair and related maintenance are also required. Performs other duties as designated by supervisor. 

Minimum Qualifications -

  1. Applicant should have some high school education with experience in the operation, servicing and maintenance of transportation vehicles.
  2. Knowledge of traffic laws, and regulations involving the operation of the vehicles is required.
  3. A Class B commercial license with passenger endorsement is required.
  4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public.

The Town of Red River will be accepting applications until the position is filled for Ambulance lead attendant within the Fire Department. This is an entry-level position under the direct supervision of the EMS Division Director. Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Minimum requirements New Mexico Intermediate or Paramedic license. No conviction of felony or crime involving moral turpitude. Beginning salary is commensurate with experience. The Town of Red River will be accepting applications until the position is filled for Emergency Vehicle Operator within the Fire Department. This is an entry-level position under the direct supervision of the EMS Division Director. Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Minimum requirements High school Diploma, New Mexico Driver’s license, currently hold or is able to pass a DOT Physical, a current EMT basic license is preferred but not required.
